Investment in Training and Development Works, Stupid!

There, I said it!  It is Friday.  This my blog and I can say and write what I want.  What I want today is for businesses, large and small, to stop making a short-term money decision about whether training and development is "worth it" and open their eyes to the lost potential for greater growth and financial gain.

Yet again I had the opportunity to meet a person -- one outstanding M.D., D.M.D and D.D.S. named Carlos Letelier who runs his oral surgery and dental implant practice (The Center for Oral Surgery)the way it should be run -- like a outstanding business, with outstanding people who have defined responsibilities, supported by both technical and human development training, with a structured marketing plan.

What make Carlos so unique was not that he is clearly smart -- just look at all those degrees -- but he identified and used his natural genius.  He knew to become the best of what he wanted to become he had to focus, take action, and delegate.  He also knew he could not do everything himself so he hired a specialized consulting team to help him execute his vision.  I will elaborate more in another post, but if you are in the dental business and care about your success, I suggest you check out The Levin Group

Thank you and Happy Friday, Andrea
