Spiritual Economics Part 2

I don’t remember whole books as much as I remember quote and lines that stand out for me when I read them. What is interesting to me is that when I re-read a book new and different lines have meaning and some sentences I underlined were completely forgotten. Here are a few quotes from Spiritual Economics that I underlined:
“…affluence…Its literal meaning is “an abundant flow,” and not [about] things at all.”

“The word prosperity comes from the Latin root which literally translates: “according to hope” or “to go forward hopefully.”

“Prosperity is a way of living and thinking,
and not just money or things.
Poverty is a way of living and thinking,
And not just a lack of money or things.”

What would those statements look like if you really believed them? Probably a lot like Mike Todd’s life when he stated, “Many times I have been broke, but I have never been poor.”

And I bet that no one would have ever said of Mike Todd that he was like so many students who are “over-read and under-done.” I suspect he unknowingly lived by the Quaker adage, “When you pray, move your feet.”

Dr. Success Challenge: What infinite action can you take right now to put what you have read in the category of what you got done? Read, pray, move. Sounds like the makings of a book title!
