Many of you know I have been diligently putting effort toward attracting a
larger venue for my media work with positive psychology. Today was an example of one of those days that had wonderful stuff in it, and then the not so wonderful.
My day started with a beautiful email from a participant in a two-year spiritual direction program within which I teach (and, of course, learn). Next up was a good session with a client, a meeting with a book strategist, followed by some book edits. As I concluded my book work for the day my friend Claire sent me a slide show with outstanding quotes attributed to women.
Then there is the not so good. For me its not even about being 'not so good' its about being 'just plan good for nothing'. I am referring to a segment -- a well intended segment I am sure -- called 'Manhunt Monday'...in the middle of the local nightly disaster report -- oh, I mean news -- stuck right there in between the auto fatalities, the million dollar heroin bust, the body of an abused women and the unemployment figures -- is a segment asking that I help find the killer of the week. I don't know about you, after all that inspiring information I am plum out of energy to help find a killer.
I had another suggestion sent by author Mabel Katz. She sent a symbol that came to her as a tool to remember to focus on love and forgiveness. She asked that everyone pass it along to as many as possible. It is the pretty Flor-de-lis symbol above. Her request was an easy one to make room in my life to accommodate. I hope you do the same.
Sending you love to combat whatever war-like thoughts your head is filled with today. May your only hunt for a man be to share some love.
Thank you,
Andrea Goeglein
